After the best part of 900 miles I've made it. My feet are still sore and it's going to take a week before my legs feel normal but I'm chuffed to have done it.

I'm in Taunton, about 180 miles from the finish line. My feet are sore, in fact everything is sore. All I'm thinking about is the finish in a few days time sparing injury I should make it by Thursday.

I am over three quarters of the way and 10 miles from Bristol.
From the centre of Bristol it's 200 miles to go - will be finished by next weekend if not before.
Looking forward to finishing now!

I am headed towards Lancaster today, hoping to get to the other side of it by night-time so I can camp somewhere more rural.
I have actually had a short break - I had a couple of gigs in London that I couldn't get out of, so I went down for five days and then resumed from Oxon Holme station in the Lake District this morning.
Last night I crossed the border and spent the night on English soil - I crossed your wee country of Scotland in 19 days!

Very tired today - just leaving central Glasgow this morning.
Hope to be well beyond the city by the end of the day!

Making rapid progress down the West Highland Way. A lot of it is old miltary roads that were used to keep the highlanders in check.
Most people do it over seven days but I will take four. I am in Tyndrum, there's not much here, just a couple of shops, but I am resting for an hour before I do my last eight miles of the day.
Scenery incredible, midges terrible!
Fort William over the weekend was a complete nightmare. I planned to stop for a rest day but when I got there I spent three hours looking for accommodation - either it was full or it was just stupidly overpriced. One woman had a room but she wouldn't let me dry my clothes in the room, so I had to leave.
I was feeling really depressed, but once I got back on the road again I was fine again.
The scenery here is amazing, proper highland stuff and mountains.
Last night I slept on Rannoch Moor. On my way up people coming back down were telling me I must go back because the midges are so bad. It seemed OK as I walked up, but as soon as I picthed my tent there was just a cloud of them, digusting things. All night I could see them on the outside of the tent, thousands waiting for me in the morning, so I had to have a very detailed and quick plan of how to pack up - I emerged unscathed!
Currently at 230 miles, that's over quarter way. Aim to be in Central Glasgow on Wednesday night.

I am walking along the North bank of Loch Ness - a bit of a mile stone.
Most of the view is obscured by trees but I keep getting glimpses of the water and I got great views coming down from Urquhart Castle.
Just hit the road this morning.
Finished up last night near Alness. Had a couple of more relaxed days as was having some sore ankles. So rested in B&B on Sunday.
Going for another 20 miles today which takes me past Beauly - 104 miles done so far.
My feet are fine - one blister on my right little toe but it's not painful.
The investment into good shoes and socks is certainly paying off.
Got to watch my ankles as I said - have had some swelling and pain in the achilles tendon - hopefully under control!
Sorry about the lack of updates - had issues charging phone but all sorted now.
I am in Tain and approximately one tenth of the way there after five days.
About 88 miles so far and very hard going indeed.
