Pepper spray attack on Chiswick cyclist

A cyclist was attacked with pepper spray by three thugs while riding through Chiswick.

The woman in her late 30s was cycling down Church Street at 12.30am on October 2, when one of the three white men sprayed her in the eyes with what the victim described as pepper spray.


The three suspects then walked away leaving the woman in agony, one of the suspects wore a khaki jacket.

Inspector Manpreet Bains of Hounslow Police Station said: "This was a cowardly attack on a woman riding her pedal bicycle.

"I would urge anyone who has any information to please call us at Hounslow Police Station CID on 0208 247 6160/5940 or anonymously to Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111."
