Grove-Park-Primary-OAP--2.jpgPensioners dined in style at a Chiswick school as they were treated to table service by pupils at a glitzy Christmas tea party.

Year six students from Grove Park Primary School, in Nightingale Close, dressed up as waiters to serve tea to pensioners from Clifton Gardens Care Home in Chiswick and residents of Mary Seacole House in Clapham.

Head teacher Marion Lee, said: "The party was a fantastic success."

She added: "Father Christmas also visited and gave all of our guests a small gift.

"All in all it was a very enjoyable afternoon."

The party-goers, who also included elderly residents of nearby streets, also enjoyed carols sang by the school choir and a raffle during their visit to the school last Wednesday, December 10.
