The final countdown...
So tomorrow I leave on a 6am train from King's Cross and arrive at Thurso in the evening.
Wednesday I start walking!
Today is hectic as I am sorting out all my gear, and doing all the last minute preparations. As well as try to fit in some drum lessons - my last work for the next few weeks!
There's still so much to do! I'm quite excited about a new gadget I have got. It's a solar charger to keep my phone and Ipod charged up. Absolutely essential!
I'm obviously quite nervous and excited. How will I cope with so much walking? How will I fare all by myself in the countryside?
It may surprise you to know I haven't even checked the weather. It doesn't matter- whatever the weather I HAVE to start walking on Wednesday! But I do hope it's good!
