smarties.jpgChiswick Park has made its way into the record books by creating the world's largest mural made entirely from sweets.

The office park on Chiswick High Road made Guinness World Record history on Friday by using 250,000 Smarties to create a mural depicting major London landmarks including the London Eye, Big Ben, The Royal Albert Hall and Wembley Stadium, with the finished result totally nearly 500 sq ft.

Over 4,000 office workers at the park, which is home to companies such as Discovery, Foxtons and Paramount, worked to complete the mural using all of the Smarties colours.

The event marked the official start of Britain's six week summer holiday and organisers hoped it would help to promote London to visitors.

Frank Chambers, Adjudicator for Guinness World Records said: "The Chiswick Park mosaic is really fabulous, you can see the Smarties colours all the way through the park. Fantastic team work, really well done."

We'd like to hear from you.
